What I do

I build and architect backend systems — Python, Django, Django Ninja, FastAPI, PostgreSQL — and I've spent most of my career deciding what to build, not only how. Legacy rebuilds, data and ingestion pipelines, MLOps infrastructure, AI agents, and products started from nothing.

The part I'm actually known for sits next to the code: sitting with customers and stakeholders, understanding how their business really works, and turning that into something engineers want to use. I've shipped platforms into teams that had every reason to resist them, and watched those teams end up using them as leverage.

2023 — 2026

CoreStory (formerly Crowdbotics)

Staff Software Engineer

Led the conception and delivery of enterprise proof-of-value engagements with global IT services and manufacturing companies. One closed a multi-year, multi-million-dollar contract.

  • Built the agentic RAG pipeline behind those engagements — FastAPI, LangChain, LangSmith, tuned Azure OpenAI models — from alpha to production, cutting an estimated 200 developer hours a month from code-to-spec and spec-to-code cycles.
  • Aligned stakeholders across functions on both sides, and drove adoption with client engineering teams who initially read the platform as a threat to their work.
  • Built the platform's Model Context Protocol server end to end as the sole engineer, plus key integrations and an AI review agent that lowered friction for customer adoption and upgrades.
  • Led backend architecture in Python and Django — DRF and Django Ninja, including async APIs — legacy modernization projects including COBOL systems, and PostgreSQL performance work.

Senior Software Developer, MLOps — Quebec City

  • Built and maintained the infrastructure to train, deploy and monitor machine learning models in production.
  • Designed scalable ML pipelines alongside data scientists and DevOps, optimizing performance, cost and data privacy.

Crowdbotics

Senior Lead Software Engineer

  • Owned backend reliability and architecture for the core platform — Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Vue.js — and mentored newer engineers.
  • Rebuilt the Stripe integration, increasing company revenue; migrated legacy projects onto modern stacks.
  • Ran Heroku infrastructure with Docker and Terraform, with CI/CD across Travis CI, CircleCI and Heroku CI.
